“Nice hotel at nice location! We stayed in room 214 last night and had a beautiful view from the balcony over the lake and pool area. The pool area was fantastic! The food in the restaurant was also very good. The only reasons for not scoring 5 was that the cost of breakfast was €16 per person and we were not allowed to order an omelette and an avocado toast - we could only choose one or the other! A bit disappointing for the price. We also found the price of the massage quite high (€77). But otherwise we were very happy!”

“Having been invited to a corporate event at the hotel my wife and I decided to take advantage of the visit and to stay for 3 nights, and were booked into a Selection Comfort room. The hotel is situated on the banks of Lake Vinuela, set in attractive and well maintained gardens. We were not overly happy with the first room we were allocated, which did not "feel" right, and with the view from the terrace restricted by a large pine tree. However, a chat with reception and a room change was made (in fact to the room next door) with no fuss whatsoever, which felt better and had a wonderful view across the pool area and the lake. Breakfast was provided in two attractive rooms, with I assume access to the terrace area in better weather. The buffet had a good selection of food that the staff ensured was fully stocked, with a range of freshly cooked options available. The one downside, as with so many hotels was a rather inefficient toaster. The restaurant we thought was excellent, and in terms of menu, food quality, portion size, presentation and service we rated as one of the best hotel restaurants we have ever eaten in. We were able to eat on the terrace during our stay which, with the views across the lake made what was good even better. One slight downside was that whilst there is an extensive and very good wine list, two of the wines we requested were not available. Perhaps next time. We considered this as very much a chill-out hotel as there is very little close by. However, a great place to chill-out. The pool and pool area is attractive and very well maintained with comfortable sun loungers, and an honour bar available. We did make use of the spa during our stay with both my wife and I having a 1 hour massage, which was superb. Jose the massear really knows his stuff. It was our first stay at this hotel, but I don´t think it will be our last. We found all the staff friendly, helpful and efficient and would like to thank them for making our stay so good.”

“Such a lovely hotel in a beautiful area, with stunning views of the lake, mountains, beautiful gardens etc. Very warm and friendly staff, beautiful rooms and delicious food. And last but not least: there is an excellent wellness and spa with the very best massages and treatments from José and his dear colleague. I definitely hope to be back!”

“Great tranquil countryside hotel with excellent situacion near lake Vinuela and mountains. Clean rooms with ballocony to lake view. Restaurant has truly good menu. Friendly staff. Good parking place. Nice pool with sunbeds. Easy to start walking near the lake. Worth to visit.”
